[ oh, he decided to bring #realtalk into this mess. wanda holds her head in her hand for a moment, wondering why he won't just come back in through the window so she can hug him, and also perhaps smash him into a wall with a flick of her wrist for being such a schmoop and making it feel contagious. ]

[ it's easier to #realtalk over text than it is face to face. barry can bombard her with a thousand text messages hoping one will be a tangent she latches onto. if they were face to face, he'd most likely chicken out. ]

[ considering he's well-aware his speed and him simply being a speedster is enough of a reminder of her late brother, barry's kind of glad. he can't quite put that into words without acting too schmoopy — and it's like he picks it up now that he's kind of turned their fun conversation on its heel — but he supposes, if she was to try and pick up on the things she does mentally, she'd find him feeling a little warm and liking that she's not sad with him. ]
